The Anam Cam Ranh, a leading luxury resort committed to environmental stewardship, invites its youngest guests and their families to experience its Sustainable Farm Program. This engaging and educational offering allows children to connect with nature, learn about sustainable farming practices, and interact with a variety of friendly farm animals, all within the resort’s expansive 8,500-square-meter farm.
The Anam’s farm cultivates a diverse array of organic vegetables, fruits, herbs. These fresh ingredients are proudly incorporated into meals served at the resort’s restaurants and staff kitchens. Guests can witness firsthand the origin of ingredients such as morning glory, malabar spinach, corn, mustard greens, wild betel leaves, lettuce, cucumber, green onion, cassava root, custard apple, papaya, banana, mango, gac fruit, and bitter melon.
The Sustainable Farm Program offers a hands-on adventure, allowing participants to:
7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Egg Collection
Children begin their morning by collecting fresh chicken and duck eggs, learning how to gently handle the birds and understand their care routines.
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Vegetable Growing Experience
Children and families explore lush, chemical-free gardens filled with organic vegetables, herbs, and fruits. With guidance from the resort team, participants learn how to grow their own sustainable produce such as morning glory, malabar spinach, corn, mustard greens, wild betel leaves, lettuce, and more.
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Animal Feeding & Interaction
Participants enjoy hands-on feeding experiences with the farm's friendly animals, including rabbits, goats (and adorable baby goats), geese, guinea fowls, and peacocks.
Laurent Myter, The Anam Group General Manager, encourages young guests and their parents to visit the farm as part of this supervised program. “Our team is genuinely keen to do its bit to educate youngsters about the need to tread lightly on the Earth, albeit in a fun and engaging way,” he said. “Kids get a taste of life on a sustainable farm, rummaging around our greenery and patting the animals such as the baby goats.”
