How many of us have wondered how we would get on left to our own devices on a secluded, tropical island in paradise?
Kabakon Survivor experience proffers the chance to cast off current reality and live the dream. The adventure begins a short picturesque boat ride away from Kabakon, at Kokopo, the capital of East New Britain.
The island offers the opportunity to live very basically in a thatched bungalow overlooking the St. George’s Channel of the Bismarck Archipelago. The accommodation has a kitchen, outdoor shower and drop toilet. A large verandah hammock overlooks the transparent waters of Kabakon. The Karawara islanders, who live on the nearby Karawara Island, teach basic survival skills.
Kabakon, has been awarded the coveted Community Engagement Award at PURE, and is guaranteed to make a perfect add-on to any PNG experience.
