The Formula E race is returning  to Hong Kong this December 2-3, 2017, launching the 4th season of the FIA Formula E Championship.

Formula E is a ground-breaking international urban street racing championship with races in some of the world’s major cities including New York, London, Paris and Hong Kong. It aims to test and develop road-relevant technologies and sustainable mobility solutions – helping refine the design and functionality of electric vehicle components and improving the driving experience for everyday road car users all over the world. It is Formula E’s mission to inspire and educate the next generation about the future of motorsport and the importance of sustainability.

Due to the overwhelming success of the inaugural Hong Kong E-Prix, this year’s event will be expanded to two races, making Hong Kong the first Asian city to host a “double-header” –  two separate championship races will take place over two  days.

The E-Prix will return to the purpose-built urban track at the Central Harbour front with major landmarks such as the International Finance Centre, Hong Kong Observation Wheel and Hong Kong City Hall as the backdrop, the Hong Kong E-Prix is one of Formula E’s most iconic  races.
